April Lockhart
April Lockhart (born July 4 April, 1995) started her journey in music as a 7th grader when she took guitar and piano classes. At the age of seven she began to take piano and guitar lessons. This ignited her interest in songwriting. The year she turned 14 was when she devoted a great deal of time to writing song ideas and practicing her musical skills. Soon, April began going across NY and LA along with her dad so that they could both to write songs. April also added additional themes to the track "Take My Hand" for some of acquaintances who faced problems like peer pressure, issues, or even teens who committed suicide. Lockhart is also gaining a growing popularity as a lifestyle influencer and works for popular brand of clean and natural beauty Ilia. Lockhart was never born having a left-handed hand, which is why she's who she is. However, that's not the full story. Lockhart does not deny that she has a disability on her Instagram account, but she doesn't make it the focus of it. What is the message? That we all contain multitudes and that we are all unique and that we're much greater than the physical person we are. I do not want this to be the only thing that defines me. I don't wish to become a disability influencer where that's all I discuss because there are other aspects to me Lockhart states in video form from her home in Nashville. This doesn't have any effect on my daily life. I conduct things normally, and I've discovered my own method of adjusting things. In addition, I see it to be a vital aspect of me. Lockhart encourages us to keep moving forward with self-acceptance. Still, she acknowledges going through phases of being uncomfortable with her body, and also feeling uneasy wearing certain clothing styles which showed her arms. She is able to wear anything she'd like, and proudly shares photos of her in these outfits. For her, self-love is an extended trip. This is, however, the case with anyone with doubts. The people around you with that truly understand you and see through your eyes are the most important people to help you remember what you're worrying about.
