Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams (born on 20th August 1974 in Aviano, Italy). American actress. She is known for her role as naive adorable characters. Adams was was raised in Castle Rock Colorado, as the youngest child of seven. Her father was in U.S. service in Italy. At the end of the 1990s, she began professional dance and acting in Boulder's Dinner Theatre and Country Dinner Playhouse. Later she was in Minnesota, at a local theatre she was cast as a character in an unrealized documentary film about beauty contests called Drop Dead Gorgeous. After her screen debut that was successful where she played an obnoxious but friendly contestant, Janet relocated into Los Angeles where she began professional acting. Janet Leigh got married to Tony Curtis between June 1951 between June 1951 and September 1962. She's the mother of Kelly Curtis (and Jamie Lee Curtis) and Jamie Lee Curtis. She was discovered by actor Norma Shearer Leigh secured a deal with MGM and started her career in film during the latter half of 1940s. The decade following she was in a variety of famous films, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) as well as Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
